Where did we come from?
Rightway was initially formed to provide simple wellness interventions to North West companies. We built a steady client-base for popular services such as on-site massage, stress management workshops and manual handling courses.
It was soon clear however that, whilst these interventions undoubtedly helped to improve staff morale, they lacked the strategic characteristics seen in a "proper" business case. So began an eighteen month research project for founder Rob Woollen to discover what really works in employee wellbeing.
Drawing from his own experience as an engineer working in the fast-paced and challenging world of construction, Rob examined corporate wellness programmes from all across the world. Listening to some of the most influential speakers on the subject he took every opportunity to make direct contact and find out what had worked for them and why. He was privileged to make links with leading figures in employee wellbeing from both the public and private sectors.
Rightway now works with organisations of all sizes (our clients have between 8 and 4500 employees!) to determine the real issues affecting employees in their workplace and come up with innovative and effective solutions. We also provide training to help you and others within your organisation to better understand how you can make a difference to wellbeing today!
So what is next? See our News page for details of our forthcoming research project with Lancaster University and to learn more about the launch of our new range of courses at the NEC in March 2010.
