RSPH Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement
Who is it for?
Employees who want to take an active role (supported by their employer) in promoting health and wellbeing at work.
How long is it?
A one-day course leading to an examination. Successful completion results in a nationally recognised qualification at Level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework.
How much does it cost?
Public access course are from £160 per person. In-house courses cost from just £1200 and can accommodate up to 15 delegates.
Certificate in Corporate Wellness (Skillsactive endorsed) 16 REPS CPD points
Who is it for?
Fully qualified personal trainers at REPS level 3. We do have discretion to allow entry to level 2 fitness instructors who can show experience of working with employers to improve population health. Other health and fitness professionals may like to see our other course - Working Well for Health /Fitness Professionals.
How long is it?
A two-day interactive course, this course (as provided to Fitness First) can be delivered at weekends for convenience. This course carries the maximum 16 CPD points for REPS members.
How much does it cost?
Public access courses cost from just £280, with in-house courses available at only £1350.
Manual Handling Training - ITOL accredited
Who is it for?Manual Handling Training is mandatory for all operatives who are required to move and handle objects by hand. This course not only teaches the basics of safe handling technique, but also how to carry out a manual handling risk assessment using the HSE MAC tool. The course covers all the material expected by the HSE in a manual handling course (including legal matters, anatomy and common injuries) and successful completion of a practical test will result in the issue of the Rightway Certificate in Manual Handling. We can provide an ITOL certificate for small charge. The course is usually renewed after three years, or as stated in your own risk assessment.
How long is it?
This course lasts half a day (4 hours)
