Dietcare, a leading franchise company for diet advisors, this week engaged Rightway to provide accredited RSPH training to all of its new advisors. Monthly course will be held to award new franchisees the Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement from July.
12th March 2010 Consultancy agreement with Professor Cary Cooper signed
Rightway signed an agreement today with Lancaster University for a period of consultancy from Professor Cary Cooper to help us to further develop our benchmarks for emotional wellbeing in employees. Work will be complete by the end of October on this exciting project. Professsor Cooper led the Foresight review into mental capital and is an acclaimed expert in stress and organisational psychology.

Thanks to all those who came to see us at the Health and Wellbeing at Work conference at the NEC this week. We met some great people, gave away 60 massages, 50 bottles of water and 70 apples! Many people couldn't believe the number of exhibitors giving away chocolates and even alcohol - so much for practising what you preach!
19/02/2010 Rightway awarded funding for research into employee wellbeing.
Manchester -based Rightway Employee Wellbeing Solutions has been awarded a grant to continue their research into baseline measurements for employee wellbeing. The company is in talks with renowned experts at Lancaster University to help put together a definitive list of indicators of wellbeing that will allow employers to measure improvements.
12/02/2010 New Employee Wellbeing training courses to be launched at NEC in March
The Health and Wellbeing at Work conference at the NEC 9-10 March will see the launch of Rightway's new range of courses aimed at different stakeholders in employee wellbeing. Based on the popular Skillsactive-accredited course written by Rob Woollen in early 2009, the three new courses have been devised to address specific and relevant areas to their intended audience. Rob explains, "We realised when delivering our fitness professionals' course that much of the content would be of interest to both managers and HR professionals. By carefully selecting which material to retain and adding new and targeted sections we have developed a range of cost-effective 'off the shelf' courses which are both practical and informative."
The new courses are aimed at managers, HR professionals and employees respectively and the original fitness professionals' course has been updated to include other health practitioners. Rightway will launch the new courses with special discounts for attendees at the conference which is free to relevant professionals. With Keynote speakers such as Dame Carol Black and 15 different conference programmes the event is sure to be a great success.
